Just start by typing from the list given below in the search field…

When you type any keyword from the list, almost all the posts having the particular keyword in it pops-up in front of you (including Ads currently running and ran in past) click on them, go to the stores selling those items and look for the products they have been selling. You’ll get ideas for products to sell on your own store.
This is a very simple yet amazing product research method. All Big and wise eCom players use this Product finding method for their stores and business all the time.
2. Amazon
Amazon Hot Release: One of the Best way to do product research is, Amazon. Amazon is the biggest eCommerce site in the world and there are millions of products on it. Just Google – “Amazon hot new releases” and pick your niche and it’ll show you thousands of products that are selling crazy.
Amazon Best Selling: Whatever you’re selling you can go to that product category on Amazon and look for the best selling products in that category, one of the best place to get product ideas for selling.
Amazon Auto Suggestion: Open amazon and just start writing anything of your interest and Amazon will start suggesting you the most searched terms related to that particular interest.
3. AliExpress
Go to Ali and Enter any keyword related to your niche or anything you like, Sort products by order, check for at least 25-30 sales a day. Test!
AliExpress Auto Suggestion is also a great place to find products that can sell.

Just start putting some keywords related to a niche and it automatically starts showing the best selling, most searched, and trending stuff related to your search.

This is a cool website that has curated awesome innovative stuff especially for dropshipping, you can look at their product line and can literally get tons of ideas.
9. Taobao.com
The most underused destination for product research. And in reality, it’s a gold mine, you can find tons and tons of fresh product ideas to sale on your Shopify store.
10. Solutions for Real Problems
Analyze and ask your friends and family about their daily problems, discuss if they think any kind of product can help them in something and think about what product can fix it. (very very useful for branding)
Other product Finding methods for eCommerce..
- Follow YouTubers & celebrities and stay up to date with the trends. (Instagram and Snapchat too).
- Keep surfing around every once in a while on Chinese sites like Taobao and 1688. If you are going to say it doesn’t work it’s just because you don’t want to make it work. I found one of the biggest winners I had on Taobao so start searching with no excuses!!
- Go to trade fairs & events where you can find a bunch of ideas and even products such as the canton fair in china.
- Start contacting factories and suppliers in China you won’t believe the amount of people in china that have NEW products but they don’t know much about the ways to market them so start looking around, connect and contact.

You just don’t need to overcomplicate things. Just follow these, use your brain alongside and you’re done.
